"There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people" -John HolmesA Unified Bake Sale, a Fund Raiser Event took place at Kaizen High today. Such events don't usually come across but only when passionate Youth leaders show willingness to make it happen. We are delightful, Athlete leaders from Turning Point joined. Youth Leaders and Athlete Leaders made food items themselves and helped each other with selling. A huge shout out to Youth Leaders, Youth Leaders from last year and everyone who contributed to purchase items from the Bake Sale. Kaizen High was able to raise a significant amount of funds for underprivileged athletes. We acknowledge the efforts partners have made to uplift the spirits of our Athletes.#UnifiedChampionSchools#wearetheunifiedgeneration#fundraising#ChooseToInclude#SpecialOlympicsPakistan#Lahore ... Diversity is not about how we differ. Diversity is about embracing one another’s uniqueness. - Ola JosephTo celebrate Children's Day, Special Olympics Pakistan arranged an awesome Young Athletes Unified Demonstration Event throughout the week at 3 different campuses of The Cedar School in collaboration with Scinosa Day Home & Al-Rozan Association For Special Children in an attempt to generate awareness among the primary grade students of the mainstream schools about the importance of embracing diversity and working for a socially inclusive future, to help them grow into more understanding and accepting adults and to provide the children with intellectual disabilities an environment where they can improve their social skills and feel appreciated. The children from all the schools were overjoyed and thrilled to mingle and play with eachother and participate in the Young Athletes activities.Swipe through to see the fun!#letsplaytogether #inclusion #youngathletes #ChooseToInclude #WeAreTheUnifiedGeneration ...
